It takes about a minute. You will see a confirmation right away, and your hours show up in the tracker above within a few minutes.
What counts as volunteer hours
Almost any way you give your time to Lincoln counts toward your 40 hours:
- Field trips & chaperoning
- Classroom help
- Lunchroom & recess assistance
- Facilities & grounds help
- School & Parent Council programs
- Events, parties & fundraisers
- Committee & board service
- Prep work done from home
Not sure if something counts, or looking for an opportunity? Contact the front office — there’s always a way to help. (Classroom observations are welcome too, but please arrange those in advance with the teacher and administration.)
Common Questions
At least 40 hours per family each school year. Hours from anyone in your household count — just log them all under the same family email so they add up.
New entries usually appear within a few minutes. Make sure you used the same email each time. If hours are still missing, contact the front office and we’ll get it sorted.
Hours are tracked across the school year (about August through June). Log them as you go so nothing gets missed.
Lots of help happens from home or after hours — prep work, events, fundraisers, and committee service all count. Contact the office and we’ll find something that fits your schedule.
