Sub for Santa? What’s the Deal?
Welcome back to Lincoln at a Glance! This is going to be a great week because, at Lincoln, we’re helping Santa out with his gift-giving! Why does Santa need a sub? Well, he doesn’t, truthfully. We’re just jealous that he gets to give all of the gifts, so we’re stepping in! There are only a couple of weeks before Christmas, so it’s time for us to get a move on.
A couple of weeks before Christmas also means that we’re just a couple of weeks from the end of the term, so make sure your students get a move on too!

Sub for Santa Dollar Dress Day – Dec. 13
This Wednesday, December 13th, we are helping out Santa with a dollar dress day! All donations will go straight to Sub for Santa, and our students will get to have a free dress! If you donate $1 that’s free dress, if you donate $2 you get free dress and you get to wear a hat!
JH Winter Dance
The Junior High winter dance is this Friday on December 15th! Join us from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Remember to wear your Sunday best!
Talent Show Auditions
Lincoln Academy’s talent show is right around the corner! Kindergarten through 9th grade are encouraged to audition. Limited spots are available as the stars will be performing in front of their peers on January 11th! Auditions will be on a first come, first serve basis, so there is no need to sign up beforehand.
Please limit all talents to a maximum of 2 minutes or less. There will be no alternate auditions days or times. Please see important dates below. We can’t wait to see Lincoln’s stars shine!

Selection Notification:
- Wednesday, December 20th

Next Tuesday’s Lunch has Changed! (Dec. 19)
Next Tuesday, Dec. 19th, our lunch is being changed from Walking Tacos to Corndogs due to supply sortages. To repeat, there will be no Walking Tacos served.

Donate to our Fitness for Life Program (PE)
Our fitness for life program would like to add additional workouts into our PE curriculum to provide a greater variety for our students. Therefore, we would like to to add the peg board and the hex trap bar to our daily workouts.
There is a tremendous amount of research that support the importance of exercise for adolescence.
It has a great impact on optimizing their mind-set, improving alertness, attention, and motivation. Our students are dedicated and hard working individuals who try their best to increase their health.
