Second Grade[930]

When I decided I wanted to become a teacher, there was only one place I could picture myself working: Lincoln Academy. As a former Lincoln student myself, it means so much to now teach second grade at the same school that helped shape me growing up. After deciding to go back to school to earn my degree in elementary education, I began working at Lincoln Academy as a teaching assistant while completing my coursework through Utah Valley University and then transferred to Western Governors University.
During my time at Lincoln, I worked as a teaching assistant in both second- and third-grade classrooms and later served as a TA supervisor supporting staff and students across multiple grade levels. Those experiences helped me discover just how much I love working with children and confirmed that teaching was truly my calling. I love building relationships with students, supporting their growth, and being part of the excitement and energy that comes with learning each day.
I love creating a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, confident, and excited to learn. My goal is to build a classroom community where students work hard, support one another, celebrate growth, and feel valued every single day.
Outside of school, I enjoy photography, traveling, sports, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family and friends. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of the Lincoln Academy community and cannot wait for another amazing year of learning and growth together.
