Michael Van Dam

History, Math

I’m Mike Van Dam. I teach math and history. I graduated from the Southern Utah University with
a bachelor’s in history and from Western Governors University with a bachelor’s in mathematics
education and a master’s in education leadership. I’ve been teaching for 11 years and I’ve been
apart of the Lincoln faculty for 5. I grew up all over the place, so you might hear some inner city
slang come out as well as the occasional ya’ll. When I’m not teaching, I like to do all sorts of
different things like playing the guitar or video games, woodcarving, hiking, biking, and driving
motorcycles.
