Science

I grew up in West Jordan, Utah. I have two sisters and one brother. I was a dancer and a cheerleader in High School. I attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho (now BYU-I) and loved all of my science classes. Since I have always had a love for education, I decided to combine the two and major in Biology Composite Teaching. After Ricks, I attended Brigham Young University, and graduated in 1997. My first teaching job was at Mount Logan Middle School in Logan, Utah where I taught 8th Grade Science.

My husband and I have five children, four girls and one boy. Malorie is 24, Abby is 2, Brock and Brinley (the twins) are 18 and Ellie is 14. I love being a mother and wife. Our family enjoys spending time together snow skiing, and sledding in the winter. In the summer we enjoy camping, hiking, paddle boarding and kayaking.

I first came to Lincoln Academy as a TA and worked in 2nd grade for two years. When the new Jr. High was built in 2014, I began teaching Jr. High Science. This will be my 8th year teaching science at Lincoln Academy. I love being part of Lincoln Academy and know next year will be a great year!
