Kindergarten[930]

I absolutely love kindergarten! I’ve spent the past nine years in kindergarten classrooms—eight as a teaching assistant and one as a teacher. Watching the incredible growth that happens from the beginning of the year to the end is one of my favorite parts of this journey. I’m constantly inspired by how eager young children are to learn—their smiles and curiosity are truly contagious!

Outside of the classroom, I’m a proud mom of four wonderful kids. I have 21-year-old twins, Ethan and Mylyn; my daughter Clara is 19, and Galen, my youngest, is 14 and lovingly known as my caboose.

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time at the gym and being with all my favorite people. I also enjoy relaxing at home with my cat, Coco. She’s 13 years old and truly my best friend.

One of my favorite quotes about teaching is by William Arthur Ward:
“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”
This quote deeply resonates with me. I also love the saying: “I never knew how many people a heart could love until I became a teacher.”

Teaching kindergartners is more than a job—it’s a joy and a privilege. I love teaching littles with all my heart!
