It has been an amazing adventure to be part of the Lincoln Academy faculty team. This school has the most fascinating students. Their energy and enthusiasm for learning is contagious and I have had a blast as we increase our reading abilities, share our author’s voice with our writing
narratives and essays, investigate science wonders, and learn what it takes to be part of a community following high school. On the personal side, my husband and I share the same hobby…we both are involved with various local theaters. My husband can be seen on many of the local stages sharing stories as an actor. But our greatest joy is when we have our children and their families around us. Currently, we have all but one of our 6 children and their families here in Utah, with the other the others living across the country in North Carolina. 15 grandchildren keep us on our toes… we raise the roof when we all get together for BBQ’s, games, and songs around the piano. I love being here at Lincoln Academy and remind my students, “Not only can we do hard things…We can do ALL THINGS! JUST BE AMAZING!”
