Reader, writer, movie lover, documentary binge-watcher, hiker, video game player, and serial hobby collector. Raised in a military family in the South, I call many places my home, but the place that will always feel most like home is South Carolina.

I recently graduated from Brigham Young University in 2025 with a degree in English Teaching. I started teaching at Lincoln at the beginning of 2026 and already have a lot of pride for our Eagles!

I am passionate about sharing my love for reading and writing with my students and helping them develop their own voices. In my classroom, every student is valued, respected, encouraged, and challenged. I strive to create a space where students feel safe taking risks, making mistakes, and stepping outside of their comfort zones because growth happens when we have the courage to try. My goal is for students to leave my classroom feeling more confident in their ideas, voices, and abilities as readers, writers, and students.
