Third Grade
Growing up I loved going to school and still do! A big reason for this came from having my twin brother, who is also my best friend, in every class. Another reason was the challenge of learning new things and growing in new ways. This made school fun and interesting. I also had some amazing teachers who helped foster my love of learning. Because of these experiences, my dream has been to teach at the elementary level. I am excited to continue to live out that dream at Lincoln Academy.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Utah Valley University in 2024 and am working on my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. While at UVU, I had the opportunity to teach in various classrooms across Utah County. After graduating, I taught physical education at Belmont Elementary. I loved helping students further develop their talents in various activities, sports, and games.
I believe every child deserves to feel valued, loved, and supported, and that each one has the potential to learn, grow, and thrive. I work each day to have a classroom where students feel safe, receive encouragement, and are inspired to reach their fullest potential. By fostering a positive and inclusive environment with high expectations, I aim to help students develop not just academically but also excel in attitude and behavior. I believe that together, we can achieve greatness, one step at a time.
I enjoy living in such a beautiful area surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues. I love to spend time outside camping, trail running, fishing, hiking, and playing sports. A few other of my favorite things are flowers, fresh cut grass (and mowing the lawn), ice cream, fresca, and Ghirardelli chocolate (my favorite favorite is the sea salt caramel dark chocolate one). My husband and I love going on sunset walks, playing volleyball together, and hanging out with family.
