Stacey Macleod

I was born and raised in southern California. My first job in education was at 18 years old,
working as a resource aid for learners with diverse abilities. I have 20 years of experience in
education and recently earned my master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I’m currently a junior high special education math teacher at
Lincoln Academy, a school I have grown to love. I am passionate about supporting both the
academic and emotional success of my students. They inspire me to learn and grow myself.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, hiking and
snowshoeing with my dog Oakley, reading, going to the movies, and—my favorite—traveling
and relaxing at the beach. I love the sunshine!
