Regan Batten

My name is Regan Batten and this is my second year at Lincoln Academy. I’ve been married for 6 years to the love of my life, Luke, who I’m obsessed with, and we recently adopted a kitten named Ladybug! I’m an avid reader, I love to craft, decorate, and do anything creative.

I loved my first year at Lincoln and am excited to see what this year has in store. I’m looking forward to getting to know the students better this year and preparing for some fun performances: the Christmas Music Assembly, the Spring Music and Art Show, and Choir Concerts for 6th grade!

My personal philosophy with teaching is that every part of music can be made fun, and I’m excited for us to create musical ideas, perform using our voices and instruments, learn about different composers every month, and connect with other cultures through their music! My mission is to foster a creative, exciting, enjoyable, loving, and safe environment for all of my students. I believe that this will help them get the most out of my lessons; that they’ll be able to learn and grow, feel welcomed, happy, and most importantly have fun!
