My name is Deborah Ferla. I am originally from Brazil. I am a mom of a feisty 3-year-old and a wife of a wonderful, supportive husband. When I am not teaching, I love watching movies, photographing random things, and listening to books! I am excited to share with you what I have to offer as an educator and how I will make a positive impact on students in my classroom.

I have my Associate’s Degree from Ensign College and a Bachelor’s from Utah Valley University, and I have worked in the field of education for over 10 years. I have a diverse perspective on my classroom. My passion for teaching Mathematics stems from my desire to help students change their mindset and not only learn from their mistakes but also celebrate them. My teaching philosophy revolves around instilling a love for learning and cultivating critical thinking skills.
