Lindsey Boskovich
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a teacher and I feel so grateful that dream became a reality. I am currently finishing my fourth-year teaching 1st grade at Lincoln Academy, and I truly love being part of this school community. This fall, I will be moving to kindergarten, and I am so excited for this new adventure!
Working with young children is such a joy. Their tender hearts, excitement for learning, and everyday growth make teaching one of the most rewarding jobs imaginable. I especially love those moments when a child finally understands something they once struggled with and begins to feel confident in themselves as learners.
I strongly believe every child is capable of amazing things, and I love helping students find the learning path that works best for them. I strive to create a classroom where children feel safe, supported, encouraged, and excited to learn each day. Watching students grow academically, socially, and emotionally is one of the greatest blessings of being a teacher.
I earned my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development and my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Utah Valley University. Before coming to Lincoln Academy, I taught preschool at Learning Dynamics for four years and worked as a substitute teacher in the Jordan School District. Because of my preschool background, I know teaching Kindergarten will be such a fun and exciting fit, and I cannot wait to begin this new chapter.
Outside of teaching, I grew up in Sandy and have stayed close to the area ever since. My husband and I have four wonderful children, and spending time with my family is one of my greatest joys. We love going to the movies, riding bikes, visiting museums, doing science experiments, and making fun memories together.
I chose to teach at Lincoln Academy not only because of its beautiful location, but because of the incredible culture within the school. The staff is kind, supportive, and always willing to help one another, and I feel truly lucky to be part of such a caring community.
