Melissa Leeflang

Instructional Coach

This will be my 11th year at Lincoln Academy, and I am thrilled to begin a new chapter as an instructional coach for kindergarten through 5th grade. With over 16 years of classroom experience in both lower and upper grades, I am passionate about supporting teachers and students at every level.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Utah in 2003. After graduating, I taught fourth grade in Salt Lake City while completing my master’s degree in educational curriculum and obtaining an English as a Second Language endorsement. My commitment to integrating technology in the classroom led me to work with the Adobe Youth Voices program, where I earned my technology endorsement.

I am excited to support our outstanding kindergarten through 5th grade teachers here at Lincoln Academy. My focus is on providing guidance, coaching, and resources to help teachers refine instructional strategies and improve student outcomes. My approach is always student-centered, working collaboratively to enhance teaching practices and ensure the success of every learner.

I look forward to partnering with our remarkable teaching staff to inspire growth and excellence throughout our school community.
