Melanie Palfreyman
I am excited to be part of the Lincoln community. Although I am new to Lincoln and started here
just a couple of years ago, I have been teaching elementary students since 1997 in California. I
earned my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and teaching credential from Brigham
Young University and later received a master’s degree in school leadership from California State
University, Stanislaus.
I took 10 years to stay home with my own children, where I enjoyed tutoring, homeschooling,
and teaching preschool. Over the years, I have taught grades K–8, but I especially love teaching
2nd grade because of their excitement and eagerness to learn.
I moved to Utah after remarrying, and our three youngest children also attend Lincoln. Our
family loves being part of this wonderful school community.
