Let’s Keep Lincoln Safe & Respectful

We kindly ask all families to help keep our school community safe and respectful during drop-off and pick-up. Please drive slowly through school zones, follow carpool procedures, and stay in designated areas to avoid blocking traffic or driveways. We’ve also noticed some students leaving trash, picking up rocks, or walking through nearby yards. We ask for your help in reminding your children to respect the homes and property around our school. Let’s all work together to keep our neighborhood clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. Thank you for your continued support!

            Carpool Safety

We are always concerned about the safety of our students.  Please make sure that during carpool, you are following speed limits on the roads and in the parking lot, watching for students who are walking, and following our carpool procedures.  We appreciate your diligence in helping our students stay safe.

            Halloween Reminders

As you prepare for Halloween and if you choose to buy costumes, we wanted to send a few reminders and guidelines:

All students are allowed to wear their costumes to school on Halloween. However, students will not be allowed to wear masks during school instruction time. Elementary students will be allowed to wear them during the parade.  Student faces may be painted if a Lincoln staff member can still recognize the student.

Additionally, no weapons or “blood” of any kind will be allowed.  The costumes must also be modest and not offend any group of people. Staff members need to be able to identify students in costume.

Halloween Costume Parade, Friday October 31st at 1:45pm

Parents are invited to view the parade outside, please dress accordingly. All families attending will enter the back of the school through the gates on either side of the school.   In the case of bad weather, the parade will be held in the JH gym.

Parents helping with class parties, please remember to sign in at the front office and get your “visitor badge”.  This will take extra time with the number of visitors coming so please plan your time accordingly.

            Lincoln Academy Sponsorship

The sponsor program partners families and businesses with school classrooms/programs to enhance learning. Sponsors provide funds to classrooms/programs that provide hands-on learning experiences, field trips, children’s educational magazines, and learning opportunities.
Lincoln Academy has a long history of individuals donating time as well as money to help our school become great! We love partnering with families and businesses to sponsor classrooms at Lincoln. Whether this is a monetary donation or volunteering in classrooms, we can’t operate without you. If you choose to be a class sponsor, your family name and/or business logo will be displayed on our TVs. Also, any donation is tax-deductible. Each classroom relies on a $500 sponsorship, which has been donated as a whole amount, or we have had families donate partial amounts. Sponsoring a class is a great option for families to partner with Lincoln when they don’t have the time to volunteer regularly.

If you are interested in being a part of our sponsor program or have any questions, please get in touch with me at jchristensen@lincoln-academy.org. We are extremely grateful for any donation that is given.

            Not Finding What You Need?
We want to make communication between our school and our parents as seamless as possible. If there are any events or details that have been missed, please let us know below! *Please include your email if you expect a response.

Thank You All and Good Luck!
