Amy Carr

Instructional Coach

This will be my 3rd year at Lincoln as an instructional coach for grades 6-9. Before coming to Lincoln, I worked as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and as a storyteller at several libraries in Utah County. In addition to my work at Lincoln, I also write, produce and record a storytelling podcast for Orem Library. Learning, teaching, and education have been a passion of mine for a long time!

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in administration. My husband and I have 5 amazing children. Our 3 oldest kids are all in college and our 2 youngest children are students here at Lincoln! Our family loves to travel together and have had the opportunity to visit some beautiful places. I’ve lived in Sweden, Denmark, and 6 different states which has been a huge blessing in my life.

I am a voracious reader and love children’s literature! I also love playing the piano, creative writing, weight lifting, traveling, going on adventures with my family, and enjoying an ice-cold Dr. Pepper.
