Sixth Grade

I’m excited to be back for another year at Lincoln! I’m also super excited to join the 6th grade team this year and guide students through digital literacy and citizenship, as well as other tech savvy techniques and knowledge. I plan to teach students how to interact with technology in such a way that they can see the “behind the scenes” value that technology gives us in our day to day world and how to safely access it. I grew up in American Fork and I am the oldest of five children. My mom and dad showed me the importance of hard work and effort. They have also taught me how valuable having an education is. I have three younger brothers and four younger sisters. We love to get together and play board or outdoor games as often as we can. I have five nephews and four nieces who keep life interesting and a lot of fun! We love going on random adventures together as often as possible. My dog Piper and I love to go on adventures as well exploring new trails to walk/hike, especially in the summer. I graduated from American Fork High School (Go Cavemen!), Utah Valley University in Elementary Ed, and Western Governors University with my masters in instruction and curriculum. I love the outdoors! Camping and traveling are my two favorite things to do during the summer! I also love reading, kickball, baseball/softball, volleyball, hanging out with my family, and
playing card or board games. I have had an amazing time teaching at Lincoln with lots of my own learning taking place! I’m so grateful for the community/family feel that Lincoln has to offer from parents, faculty members, students and for all those who help make the school what it is. I have loved my time in fourth grade, but I can’t wait to learn and grow another year with your students starting in 6th!
