BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Purpose of Board of Trustees is to oversee the school and ensure the mission of the school is implemented. The Board consists of seven dedicated individuals who are committed to providing students a quality educational experience. Areas of board responsibility include: finances, curriculum, facilities, enrollment, policy, information technology, theatrical performances, fundraising, faculty & staff outreach, personnel, and creating a positive school environment. Board meetings are held the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30PM. Parents are welcome to attend. The entire board may be contacted at board@lincoln-academy.org.
The board also acts as the school community council. The community council reviews and analyzes the student learning data, creates a plan to improve learning and allocates School Land Trust funds to implement elements of the plan. Samantha Lee
Staff and Faculty Relations
Samantha Lee has one son (sixth grade) attending Lincoln Academy and is beginning her fourth year of service on the Lincoln Board of Trustees in charge of Faculty and Staff Relations. She loves the teacher to student ratio at Lincoln with TAs in each classroom. Samantha has a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University in Communications and Secondary Education. In her free time, you can find her hiking in the mountains or cheering for BYU sports.
