Summer is here!!! We had a very successful school year- Thanks to the hard work of all the parents, students, teachers and school staff.

Our accreditation visit ended up very good with a six year accreditation term, we had thousands of volunteer hours, good results on state and national testing, an award winning journalism students and program, charter school sports champions, Odyssey of the mind state winners, Science fair winners, and many other great events and accomplishments.

As a reminder to returning students- I find that students who continue to do some educational work over the summer will perform better the next year. Parents can do a lot at home during the summer to help students prepare for the next year. Daily reading and math facts can do a lot to help students. Additionally, parents can continue to use our online subscription to Lexia throughout the summer to help students become better readers. Plan now for an hour of educational work a day, which can go a long way to help your student succeed next year.

I hope for a safe, fun summer for all. I look forward to another great year next year where we can all continue to help students grow and succeed.
